Baby Sold For A New Car

The baby's grandmother, Patty Bigby brokered the deal. She asked

$75,000 but came down to $30,000. The mother, Stephanie Bigby

Fleming, 22 from Florida, needed the money to buy a car and pay

Court courts for parole violations, was to receive $9,000.

The grandmother Patty,45 and her boyfriend, Lawrence Works,42

and Stephanie were arrested.

They had offered the baby for sale to a relative in October, who contacted the

police. She worked with the police during the negotiations. They were

arrested when they collected a cashier's check for $30,000 and handed

the baby over to an undercover agent in a parking lot in Daytona Beach.

That is just terrible! What kind of people sell their children--or anyone for that matter?
I pray that the child finds a loving, caring home.

I have heard about this and she should be brought up on abuse charges. I agree. what they did is wrong.
