Young actress Camilla Belle attended the Free the Slaves 2010 Freedom Awards on November 7th at Redondo Beach, California. While it has been a few years since Camilla’s last, critically well-received film, she has had no shortage of red carpet appearances - usually in stunning attire.
At the Freedom Awards, Camilla glowed with easy elegance in a Derek Lam outfit from his Spring 2011 collection. It was the sort of look that could easily border on dowdiness but Camilla pulled it off effortlessly. Her embellished, sleeveless top with black, below-the-knee skirt and Brian Atwood sandals made for a winning combination on the red carpet. Kate Bosworth recently wore a similar ensemble, also from the designer's Spring 2011 collection.
On November 4th, Camilla attended Ralph Lauren’s cocktail party, in honor of Gloria Vanderbilt. At the event, Camilla wore a Ralph Lauren ensemble from the Spring 2011 collection. Camilla paired a crisp, puff sleeve, white shirt with a beaded and fringed skirt. A wide belt and brown pumps completed her outfit. The look was a little too costume-like and her choice of shoe was, like Fashion Critic noted, “not well coordinated with the rest of her look, but they also feel really heavy.â€
Camilla’s upcoming film, “From Prada to Nada,†directed by Angel Garcia, is set for release in 2011.
