Disney star Demi Lovato has dropped out of the world tour she was on with the Jonas Brothers and checked in to a rehab facility.
"Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. Demi and her family ask that the media please respect their privacy during this difficult time. She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future" her rep tells PEOPLE.
At just 18 years old, it's hard to think of what type of help Lovato is seeking. Something tells us that being on tour with her ex boyfriend (Joe Jonas) wasn't great for her health. Being face to face with your ex - and his new girlfriend (Ashley Greene, Twilight) - can cause depression and anxiety.
The rep said that the facility that Lovato entered will help her with "emotional and physical issues" which is leading us to believe that Lovato may have an eating disorder. Whatever the problems may be, the good thing is that she is getting the help that she needs.
