"The Fear" Singer Miscarries At Six Months Pregnant

Lily Allen had a previous miscarriage in 2008, so we can only imagine how excited she was when she announced in early August that she was pregnant yet again. Sadly, this pregnancy has ended tragically as well, as Allen's spokesmen confirmed on Monday that she had lost the baby.

Publicist Murray Chalmers had announced that "it is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby." He also continues on to say that "The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made."

Lily Allen has told the press that having children is her "main goal in life" and so losing two must be devastating. The gender was already determined for this child; it was a baby boy.
