WEST 42ND STREET
Makeshift con artist scorer,
Selling goods, delicatessen subs to order.
Handsome commission, bones to chew-on.
Legalized cannibals embellish the counters of choice.
Flesh revealed brings the highest price.
Sideshows steaming, a quarter for the peeping.
Silvers screen promoting the slave-trade frenzy,
Horns of society roll over their Mercedes.
Proper I.D., Transaction the fee.
Barnyard stables attract animal commotions.
Primitives thrive on ménage-à-trois revolutions.
Decibels of pleasure, echoes unmeasured,
A game for everyone, what's your pleasure?
Religion perfected and repeated,
Cannibals sport a technical art.
Billy Graham's Gospel a last resort.
Blue flashing angels float by and accept taxes,
Towers of Dome shake from the underground axis.
