Taylor Swift's new album, Sparks Fly, could have the fur flying with the lyrics for Better Than Revenge. Could Taylor be referring to Camilla Belle, the actress who began dating Joe Jonas after the relationship with Taylor ended? If so, it seems that Taylor has her claws out, and is ready to serve up a little cold hard vengeance.
In the song, Taylor Swift sings that the target of the song is "better known for the things she does on the mattress." Another line in the song says "She underestimated just who she was stealing from." It doesn't sound like she is too happy with a particular lady, but is it really Camilla Belle, or is this only a song with no one particular in mind? It would depend on just how hard she fell, when her and Joe broke up. However, if Taylor is this jealous of who Joe is dating, after the end of the relationship, she may want to look into a bit of anger management.
Regardless of who the song is about, Better Than Revenge is really an excellent tune with a great beat, and lyrics many can identify with for those who have had someone stolen from them. This single looks to be one that could race up the charts. Sparks Fly came out on October 25, 2010.

I haven't followed Taylor Swift's love life, and really don't care to, she documents it well enough in her songs and lyrics............so given that I am sure its about Camilla Belle.
At some point she needs to move on from the break up songs and move on.......the love her and leave her songs, in my book are getting old. But as she has said in the past they help her put things in perspective.........so I doubt I'll get my wish.
Its not a bad song, just not my style.
This song, yes I listened to it in entirety, seems to be a huge jump into crossover music. She had a VMA award for You belong with me, but I see her trying to play to the rock crowd as much as the country crowd, and it makes me wonder, will she stay true to herself or will she become what someone else wants her to be.
