My Starbucks gift card arrived today

I'm so excited. I used to go to Starbucks everyday of the week. It took me almost a year before I realized how much I was spending on coffee everyday. I finally realized enough is enough and starting making my own coffee at home and adding flavored cream. I go to Starbucks now about once a month. It is hard to drive by a Starbucks and not go inside, but I am very proud of the fact that I'm saving so much money by not going. I'm trying really hard to only go if I have a gift card.

Well I gathered enough Swagbucks and got a $10 gift card to Starbucks. Now I'm going tomorrow to get my Venti, iced upside down caramel macchiatto. I can't wait. I almost went on Sunday, but I knew my gift card was on its way, so I waited.

Now I think I have 200 Swagbucks, not sure if I'll get an Amazon card or wait until I can get another Starbucks card. Someone once told me they get Starbucks cards on mypoints. I'm not a member there.

Are there other sites that you know of that are easy to get Starbucks gift cards?

Congrats on your gift card! MyPoints is about the only other place I know of that offers Starbucks as a reward.

Are you a member on MyPoints? Do you earn points at about the same speed as you do here on Gather? I looked at it, but I don't shop online, so I don't know if I'd make many points on that site.

Yeah, I've belonged to myPoints for years........just cashed out there for a $50 Amazon.com GC and a $25 Bath & Body Works GC......just about have enough to get a $10 GC but I'll probably wait. I shop online a whole lot, that's why I got tons of points.......if you don't shop online, it would take lots longer to accumulate points and get a $10 gift card. It just may not be worth it.

I rarely shop online. Sounds like you've done pretty well on that site. I'm trying to put more time into my writing sites, Associated Content and Suite101. Maybe I'll pass on MyPoints. Maybe that can be my summer site. Thanks for the info.

It sounds like your very talented with writing........I don't write well at all but really do great at online shopping.....LOL!!!!!! I'm going to try to do all my Christmas shopping online this year.....well, hopefully! Of course, using my "rewards" credit cards!!!!

Don't doubt your writing abilities... By reading your posts and comments you have great writing ability. You might also earn a little extra money by posting the great recipes you write on there. Suite101 is a little tougher on publishing, but I bet you could easily publish your recipes on Associated Content and earn a few cents (that add up to a few dollars)
