With Fall weather in full swing, women everywhere are putting their best cool weather clothes and boots on. “The City’s†Olivia Palermo has been spotted out and about in New York, wearing clothes fit for inspiration.
Thanks to Outfit Identifiers, getting a hold of what the reality star has on can be easy. One of the things Olivia does well is making use of volume. For a lunch out, she paired her Members Only leather leggings with a Haute Hippie fur vest. She kept everything else streamlined by sticking to all-black. A pop of rich color came courtesy of her two-tone flats from French Sole, a year-round favorite of Olivia’s, and her vintage Hermes Jige clutch.
On another occasion, Olivia showed her leather leggings more love by wearing it out, this time taking on the animal-print trend with lace-up ankle boots from Charlotte Olympia. Olivia let her leopard-print booties be the highlight of her outfit by keeping everything else in black.
Another trend Olivia took on was the cape. She wisely kept her Malene Birger knit cape in a simple camel color and again balanced that volume on top with skinny, dark pants. The same Charlotte Olympia leopard-print booties added a little extra to her outfit.
Although she may not always be the “good girl,†in MTV’s, “The City,†Olivia does have great style. Her flair for layering, balancing volume with more close-fitting pieces and wearing trends in a tasteful way are worth taking some style inspiration from this Fall.
