I happen to agree with Jerry. Six million Jews were killed in WWII. Twenty million Russians were killed at the same time. I don't hear them whining.

I'm with you Thomas. I believe in God. When America completely turns its back on Israel, it's not going to be pretty at all.

I disagree. That's when we will be totally free instead of being controlled by a foreign country.

Totally free is the greatest thing going when the Karmic accounting of justice is insured ... that way there are no accidents nor victims ... though one walks in the valley of death and the shadows of "evil", GOD will see to it that no harm befalls those who do not Karmically deserve it for their greater learning about the truth of such justice ... those who will then want to experiment with being sinful and practicing "evil" will even have that freedom to do so, assuming they are willing to receive back what they dish out, because they surely will ... and those on their receiving end also learning that it is only because they also need the experience for learning how those felt who they had previously harmed ...

At this point in time the people of Israel, which is a small place on the map, need to start thinking that they should go back to where they came from as the living conditions in the world have greatly improved over-all.

They have absolutely no right to that strip of land. They were dumped there by the British in 1947 because nobody else wanted them.

There will be in my opinion only a one country solution and that state will be called Palestine. There will be three states at least and one of those three will be called Israel.

What's more, I will take this opportunity to remind the orthodox among us (not that you will comprehend) that the idea of the "chosen people" and the" ownership" of the dome on the rock, if not Jerusalem itself, is a silly exoteric religious idea typical of most mis-informed concepts based upon objective egoic concepts around manifested physicality, usually dualistic in nature (+/-) ... (not unlike the "golden calf" type "ritualization" via "sacraments" ... killing each other over land and supposed "temples" etc) ... such things that completely miss the intended esoteric and mystical understandings of the truly spiritual truths which are subjective, where GOD and the Love-of, spring from withIN each INdividual that seeks real truth !!! IMnsHO (and experience)

And Thomas, dear Thomas, who is saying, or trying to say something nice and spiritual-sounding, because his friends might be reading, and he's not quite succeeding because his argument is a little flawed....

Man is the caretaker of the Earth. He doesn't 'own' it, he uses it and sometimes abuses it. The concept of a being larger than Man is based upon the unwitting theory thousands of years ago that everyone has a father, that means, every one person has their own father, basic biology, as matter of fact. In short, it was easy, and a little naive, to think that a large 'man' was up there in the sky looking down upon us (not proven because they didn't have rockets and astronauts). The 'man' was looking after us in one breath and punishing us with the next. Why? Because, we were told, he loves us. Mmmm!

The 'word of god' was written, not by the man in the sky, but by...Man. That expression is a poetic metaphor, a phrase which conjures up the idea of the words being inspired by something other than Man, something which, curiously, can not be proved.

And if someone says they have 'heard' the words of god, what do we do? In the Middle Ages, we saw it as some kind of magic, alongside 'miracles' and other things which...couldn't be explained. So, Man's lack of knowledge meant that everything was perfomed by, connected to, given by, taken away by, drowned by, born by, killed by, seen by, heard by....the 'man' in the sky. There was no other explanation.

The fields were flat, the roads connected your home to that of another, your village to another and the land went on and on and it took ages to walk through the forests and hills to get 'somewhere' different and strange and...frightening. And the sea...the sea surrounded the land. People who were stupid enough to get in a boat and go too far near the horizon disappeared, would surely fall off the edge of the Earth; everyone knew that! But Gallileo and Capernicus shook up that kind of thinking, which was largely promolgated by...the church.

In the Middle Ages, the church had power; if you didn't go along with their teaching, didn't go through the rituals when required, you were disowned. If you didn't go to church (and, thereby, contribute to the massive funds) you were less than criminal. The Inquisitions were the way the church dealt with resistors. In fact, the church was so efficient that, in one case (out of thousands), a little jewish boy was abducted and taken, on the orders of the pope. Why? Because the young girl left to look after him mistakenly thought he was going to die; she said a prayer over him. He never saw his parents again until he was in his twenties, under the juristiction of the pope, at which time he had been a priest for most of his life. Many thousands were disappeared, murdered, tortured, even executed; being publicly boiled in oil was one method (authorised by Pope Innocent v111), all because the people would not follow the ideas, rituals, rules and demands of a fearless church. All in the name of religion.

My point is, if A hears god's words and does what he is requested, and B hears a different demand and it conflicts with A's, who is right? In other words, if god is apparently on BOTH sides......., maybe neither is really connected to god, not because the phone line is down, but.........
