I know there are alot of opinions on smoking, do this might stir things up a bit. I seen on the news where the next town has put a ban on smoking in any public place or any property that the city owns. This includes all outside areas. They have also put into effect a new rule for city employees. They will no longer hire anyone that uses tobacco.
My question is, tobacco is not illegal. How can they do that? If you will be in trouble if you are caught and cannot be hired if you use it, why do they not just make it illegal. But wait, they try to legalize smoking pot? Makes sense. If it is not illegal it should be discrimination for the hiring process.
When is it going to stop? Next it will be alcohol, then colas, then fast food. The government is too involved in our lives now.
The citizens are already putting up a fight? Do you think it will change anything? Do you think that the courts will say that they are discriminating?
