Progression of the Hair

I realized when talking to a friend that a lot of people who have met me more recently have never seen me with crazy-colored hair. Little-known fact? I used to bleach & dye the front of it all sorts of crazy colors!

I figured I'd dig up as many old crazy-haired photos as I could... I couldn't dig up a lot, and some are tiny/bad/whatever, but hey!

Let's start with the earliest. The front bits were green/blue/purple, with the green at the top and the purple at the bottom.

That was some time in highschool.

I went through a mix of colors between then and college, and occasionally the color faded and I'd be just partially bleached...

Sometime in 2006, I think I did the pink & purple stripes. But everyone does vertical stripes... so I did horizontal ones.

Those looked pretty sweet :)

In August 2006, I dyed it blue for my sister's wedding.

It's pulled back, but you can kind of make it out on top.

This next one, I think, was freshman year of college...

I dyed it at one point for a roleplay...

I did dye it once after moving into this apartment, too. I know, because I got purple on the bathroom wall. Oops. However, I don't think there was much of it to dye, since I didn't rebleach so it wasn't super apparent and I can't find any good photos.

And so, there you have it! At this point, all of the bleached parts have grown out and broken off (that stuff is HARSH on hair) and now I'm just dark brown. Maybe someday I'll go purple or green again ;)
