Sunday night was victorious for the New York Knicks, who just suffered a loss to the Celtics the night before.
With only 1.1 seconds remaining Toney Douglas hit both free throws, and brought his team to a 92-90 victory over Washington.
Douglas was on fire, as he scored 23 points in 31 minutes, off the bench.
Amare Stoudemire finished with 18 points and seven rebounds, Timothy Mozgov scored 12, and Wilson Chandler finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Raymond Felton scored 8 points and 8 rebounds for the Knicks.Â
It wasn't a good night for Danilo Gallinari who only scored one point and missed seven shots.
Rookie John Wall scored 19 points, six assists and 5 rebounds for Washington. Yi Jianlian and Al Thorton both scored 12 points. Andray Blatche finished with 11 points and seven rebounds, and JaVale McGee finished with ten points, six rebounds, and six blocks.
