I want to say first that I am a straight Christian. Secondly, I want to applaud the person who came up with this idea, and all the people who have contributed to it.
I have seen so many tirades about how gays/bisexuals/transgenders are "going to hell," abominations, etc, etc. It makes me both sad and incredibly angry that anyone would hide behind the label of Christianity and throw hatred - which is so UNChristian, by the way. I support gays, I support gay marriage, and I don't care who flames me for it. I'm not really sure what the point of this post is, except that I wanted to make it clear that not all "Christians" are so full of hate and disrespect. As much negative commentary as there is out there against homosexuality, NO ONE should ever feel like a lesser person just because they don't fit into the "mold" of society. There is no "normal." There is no "perfection." We are a race of imperfect human beings with our own minds, thoughts, feelings, beliefs; and we ALL have our right to those.
White, Black, straight, gay, Christian, Atheist, whoever you may be and whatever you may believe in - never think that it is up to anyone but you to decide who you are or should be. BE YOURSELF and pay no attention to those who would condemn or belittle you for it. You are all beautiful, and you are loved - not despite your "differences," but because of them. If God had wanted us all to be the same, He would have made us that way.
