A high school in Madina County, Ohio says no dance if it means dirty dancing. The principal of Brunswick High School is making students sign a pledge if they want to go to the winter formal on Saturday which includes dress code, no inappropriate touching, and no grinding that simulates sex.
"He said his decision to ban that form of dancing has been met with widespread approval from the community — adding that school officials and parents throughout the state have inundated him with phone calls and e-mails expressing their support, according to Fox News.
The problem is students don't want to go to the dance if it means they can't express themselves by wearing what they want and simulating sex on the dance floor. Schools are not a place to express your sexual freedoms, so if students don't want to attend, let them explain to their parents why they aren't going to the dance.
The community supports the principal, and it is necessary to stop the use of school functions for self-expression because school is for academics, and art class is for self-expression.

It was a real good thing that Ed Sullivan wouldn't let Elvis swing his pelvis on tv. That was so corrupting of fragile youth!
