In Hoda Kotb's new book, she discusses her time living through cancer, bad hair, war zones, and Kathie Lee Gifford.
Kotb is very forthcoming in her autobiography and people are really appreciating her openness and her honesty.
On Kathie Lee, Kotb says, "Can Kathie Lee be a pain in my [expletive]? Yes. Some days I want to take her to the mat and stick gum in her hair. But, love her or hate her, Kathie Lee knows how to do live talk television. And don’t worry about me, I can take whatever she dishes" (via MSNBC).
It's interesting to think that Kathie Lee and Hoda don't always get along because on television they just mesh.
Kotb talks about her time in war zones as she "has reported on the war in Iraq, the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza and the war in Afghanistan" (MSNBC).
And as if her work isn't appreciated enough, Kotb also talks about her battle with breast cancer, something that a lot of women can (unfortunately) relate to.
The book entitled Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer and Kathie Lee hit stores on October 12 and has a lot of people talking. A staple in many people's mid mornings, Kotb has let the world in to her life and people are loving it.
