I got to go to church yesterday, so I was there with my parents. I think some of you know my dad is a pastor. I hadn't been in at least a month because of my migraines and other health problems. This is why, as some of you have read, I have gone on a gluten free diet. To hopefully get rid of the migraines.
Anyway, I was grateful to be there to support my dad (it being his first service since his cancer diagnosis). And I always enjoy putting my tithe check in the offering plate. Odd, perhaps? I just enjoy doing that. Call me weird, I won't blame ya. lol
I'm also grateful for it being football season. I do love football, and my dad watch some games together on Sunday afternoon. I stay over at their house and watch a game with him. He's a Cowboys fan, and boy have they disappointed! Anyway, it is also playoff time in baseball. And while none of my family is into baseball, I enjoy watching the games. I'm a Yankees fan, although I really like every single team left in the American League playoffs.
Anyway, I'm just grateful for many things. And when I wake up sometimes with my heart in my throat because I am remembering my dad's cancer diagnosis, I just pray for the peace that God seems to be giving me.
What are you grateful for?
