Looks like the real life version of Big Love is escaping the long arm of the law after all. Kody Brown, the husband of 4 wives (although only legally married to 1) is most likely not going to be arrested on bigamy charges.
According to Perez Hilton, law enforcement officials in Utah rarely prosecute polygamous families unless they do creepy things like abusing young girls, kidnapping, or anything else that might be harmful to said “wives.â€
Apparently there really has never even been a case against a traditional polygamist family the was accused of anything except just bigamy.
Was Kody Brown and his gaggle of women pushing the envelope with their attention getting reality show, Sister Wives? Well since they are not going to get in trouble, it's quite possible that their show will be an eye opener.
Is it something gross, or is it just a religious thing? The show will definitely shed some light on this sect of Mormonism.
