I got the phone call this morning from my brother. I have a brand spankin' new neice....and both mom and baby are doing fine. She came a little bit before her due date but was a healthy 6 lbs 10 oz (the same size as Pher).
Now, my brother and SIL didn't know the sex of the baby ahead of time, but my SIL has been saying that it's a boy all summer long. I kinda' thought she might have known, since she did have multiple sonograms. I kept telling her that she'll get what she gets....and it was a girl.....he,he,he.
Although, now that I know the poor baby's name, I do wish she was a boy. I know the boy's name that they had picked out was Nathaniel. This poor baby is in for a long road ahead....her first name is named after my grandmother. The funny thing is, 14 years ago, when I was pregnant with Angela, my grandmother made me promise that I would NEVER name a child after her. Grandma is going to have an absolute fit that the baby got saddled with her name. Her name......Esther Miriam....EWWWW.
What else I find amusing at the moment...my brother and SIL live across the street from my parents and watch my almost 2 yr old neice all the time. Well, this is the first and only weekend mom and dad have been gone since mom was diagnosed with cancer. My brother and SIL almost went with them, but thank goodness my parents talked them out of it. Of coarse my SIL had to have the baby the only days mom and dad are gone....LOL. Last I heard, my brother couldn't get ahold of my parents....and usually I'm the last to know anything.
So, welcome to the world little Esther Miriam.......

Megans full name is Megan Dain
Personally I like unusual names if my ex would of agreed Megan would of been Heaven Leigh
I don't know I just think parents should be able to name their kids we are all different and like different things.
