Elisabeth Hasselbeck joins GMA

One of the view's gabby gals is heading to Good Morning America.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck has signed on to cover family and parenting topics on the popular ABC show, Good Morning America.

The blond firecracker will likely take a more serious approach to her new position - and there won't be any cat fights to watch either.

"Her first segment will air on Monday and 'will look at kids and tattoos – the dangers and the alternatives, as well as how parents should handle kids who come to them begging for one'" according to Entertainment Weekly.

The new position will be in addition to her current position on The View. She will likely do very well on GMA as a mother of three herself, the issues that she will be covering will be very real to her.

In a statement, Elisabeth said, "I am thrilled to join the Good Morning America team, and I am thankful for this opportunity to raise awareness and explore the most important issues facing parents and children" (ABC).
