"Desperate Housewives" Dana Delany "Droopy" Eye: Actress Warns About Botox Injections!

“Desperate Housewives” actress Dana Delany’s “droopy” eye was caused by Botox injections. Delany’s dermatologist had recommended the procedure to reduce her wrinkles. However, the doctor was not practiced at Botox, and Dana Delany received a “droopy” eye condition.

Though the Botox experience occurred earlier in 2003, the “Desperate Housewives” star has sworn off all cosmetic surgery. Dana Delany praised actresses that "grow old naturally."

The 54-year-old actress said, “I won’t do it, no. My hats off to Jamie Lee Curtis. She’s so smart, and she doesn’t dye her hair or anything. And Meryl Streep still looks like herself. Diane Keaton, too. I think the really great actresses don’t worry about that kind of thing.”

Dana Delany explained that her skin doctor had recommended the botox injections to help her maintain her face as wrinkle-free. According to StarPulse, “the medic had had little practice in how to correctly inject the formula and one shot was enough to make Delany swear off Botox for life.”

She explained, “Seven years ago, I had never heard of Botox. My dermatologist was saying, ‘You should try it.’ He injected my forehead, hit a nerve, and created a huge hematoma.”
