My Second Home....The Hospital

This weekend was really going good. I went to a balloon release in honor of a little boy killed by his mother's ex boyfriend. Met wonderful people there that took something bad and made it something positive. Really was good for all of us and I have new friends.

Then yesterday I went to my cousin's daughter's babyshower. Enjoyed my time with them and she got lots of wonderful things. All ready for baby Annabelle to come!

I had started not feeling well yesterday morning but thought it was the trip the day before. Went out to pick James and Eric up at James' grandparents after I got home. Eric had been cutting wood with Nolan while I was at the shower.

Came home put pajamas on and relaxed. Then it all started really getting worse. The sharp pains I had off and on all day got really worse. So bad I had to take my nitro. After second nitro and tears I gave into Eric taking me to ER. James went to grandma and grandpas where they kept him for the night.

Got to hospital they started nitro drip which gave me a headache like you wouldn't believe. Anyone that has ever had nitro drip knows its part of it and is worse with the drip then the pills. I then got morphine for headache.

My blood pressure was sky high and I mean sky high at one time it was 193/126. Nitro drip usually helps with bringing blood pressure down but it didn't this time. They gave me meds by IV can't remember the name but it brought my blood pressure way down. When all tests showed my heart was fine, and calling my cardiologist, and blood pressure finally staying down I was able to go home. Made it home about 3:30 am this morning.  They added a new medicine along with my others. I now take Norvac along with all my other meds. Which means I am now officially on 13 pills a day, 3 of them just for my bloodpressure. 

I am glad it wasn't my heart condition this time. They said the high blood pressure was the reason for the chest pains.  Really all and all I am greatful I didn't have to be admitted and they was able to treat me in ER. I can remember a few years ago when I was in the hospital I was there for at least a week. It was as well at least once a month I would have those visits.  As the doctor said last night I am handling everything pretty good compared to what it use to be.  As he also said considering everything not many would be able to handle all as I have. 

However, both Eric and I had very strict orders.  One being even though there was court against James' egg donor today I was not to go.

I was to stay home and off my feet for all reasons.  Even though that got postponed again and some of the news wasn't the greatest I did as told.  Will update you all on that story at a later time.
