Britney Spears who appeared on "Glee" recently is being sued by a former nanny. The "Toxic" star, allegedly owes her former employee a boat load of wages and overtime.
Pop princess, Britney Spears was served with a lawsuit from a lady who identified herself as a former employee, according to the Toronto Sun. Â In court documents, Ferial Zaltash makes a claim that she during 2007 worked for the "Toxic" pop star as a nanny. Â However, the details are very limited on the specifics of why Britney Spears has been sued by her former assistant.
Zaltash said that for one month she was retained by the pop diva to care for her two sons, Jayden James, 4, and Sean Preston, 5. Â The documents do not detail why her tenure was of a short duration with Britney Spears, who appeared on "Glee", recently.
ET reports that the former nanny gave written testimony that Spears owes her wages and overtime totaling $32,202 during her brief time as nanny and personal assistant. Further, court documents show that Britney Spears was sued by her former nanny for penalties based on wages and overtime Zaltash is owed.
It appears that celebrities, like Britney Spears can be sued by a former nanny at any time, even if it's three years later. Â It is obvious that the "Toxic" star can afford the asking price, but it hardly makes for a "Glee-ful" moment.
