Who doesn't love Kelly Ripa? Years ago, she came in to replace Kathie Lee Gifford on Live With Regis, and she is stuck right by Regis' side. On Friday, she talked about working out with Bryant Gumbel. He was stepping in for Regis Philbin for the day.
She tried to get Gumbel to join her work out club. She is a regular at Soul Cycle, a spinning studio in New York City. However, he prefers to work out on his own, and he was surprised that Kelly Ripa preferred working out in a group.
Kelly Ripa, comparing herself to Peter Pan on a bike, also had this to say about why she liked to work out among others on the show Friday, according to The Huffington Post: "I prefer a group mentality. I think there's power in a group, I think the group motivates everybody. I think everybody really pulls together, and there's something sexy about the sound and look of a unified group of people working out."
Is working out with others sexy? Really now? All hot and sweaty with your hair messed up? Sounds so far from sexy, but she might see it differently. She seems to keep in shape and look great on air.
