Ryder Cup in Wales ...

Yee Haw!!!

At last the world knows where we are. As the Ryder Cup arrives in Wales, Newport is basking in the proverbial fifteen minutes of fame ... unfortunately the canopy of slate grey clouds that's persistently squirting copious amounts of rain all over the Celtic Manor has taken a bit of the sheen off the event, but everyone here is well excited about it.

So if you're passing through the Brynglas Tunnel give us a wave as you exit - we live just to the right of the M4.

The rain has been stair-rodding in Wales. It makes Scotland look like a temperate climate!

It was close. I saw the USA team at their press conference later. They commented on how much the Welsh supported the European team, yet thanked them for their courtesy. It was a great event. I'm not crazy about your weather, though.

Whilst the Welsh weather has been pretty bad - OURS is more 'dreich' than theirs!
