Our Next Runway Model ~ October 1st - October 15

I would like to thank everyone who participated in our Grandfather challenge over the past two weeks.  That Runway Show will be posted a little later today.  Until then, however, let me present our new model....

Our next model in Models Among Us is PET(S).  That's right for all those non-human creatures who have come into our lives and stolen our hearts this show is for them.  Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, goats, rabbits...you name it, if it is or has been your pet - then it can hit the runway.

Some of you may remember from 2008 when Allen & I became parents again and needed help naming our new furbaby.  Since then, Thade has developed a sensational personality.  He's full of spunk, loves people, minds well, etc, etc.

Yesterday, I took him on a trip to the Botanical Gardens to check out the Scarecrows in the Garden.  He had fun, but the 'crows scared him a bit.

Since he was a bit unsure of the Scarecrows, we decided to explore other parts of the Gardens and make the outing a photo shoot for him.

I can not wait to see your model(s) over the next couple of weeks.  You can share pictures, photo essays, poems, stories, drawings, etc.  Anything that depicts your present or past PET(s).  The guidelines are below.  Have fun and thanks for participating!

Submit your photos, images, stories, poems, etc. to the group, Models Among Us, by midnight (Central Time) on September 30th.

Tag your submissions with:  models among us, models, life, pet

Please only submit a total of five entries.  These can be 5 photos/images or 5 posts or a combination which totals five (i.e. 3 photos, 2 poems).  If you submit more than 5, I will accept the first 5 and decline the rest.

Your submissions should be relatively new.  I would like to see things not previously posted on Gather.  Try to make sure your submissions are no older than 6 months.

Be creative.  Your submissions can be photo essays, stories, poems, photographs, drawings, and other artwork.
