Last month during the Dallas Cowboys training camp, rookie Wide Receiver Dez Bryant caused quite a controversy by refusing to carry veteran Receiver Roy William's pads. This is a rookie hazing tradition but apparently Dez Bryant didn't get the memo. The veterans vowed that Bryant would make up for this by paying for dinner for the whole team. The team celebrated their win over the Texans with a dinner Monday night at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. Of course the players indulged and went for the steak and lobster since the rookie was paying. The booze was also flowing that night as they celebrated their big win. The check came to $54,896 and the rookie kept his word and paid in full. Maybe he should have just carried the shoulder pads.
