Emmy award winning actress Katherine Heigl (The Ugly Truth, 27 Dresses) will join domestic diva Martha Stewart in the kitchen on Thursday, September 30. The duo will prepare potato-wrapped halibut together, though the Grey's Anatomy star will no doubt also be plugging her soon to be released new movie, Life As We Know It.
Film fans last saw Heigl this past summer in the movie Killers, in which she appeared opposite Ashton Kutcher as a newlywed who finds out her husband is a spy. Due to be released October 10, Life As We Know It also stars Josh Duhamel. While there are no bullets flying in Heigl's latest film escapade her character has quite an adventure ahead of her when she suddenly finds herself raising her goddaughter under the same roof with a man she once dated with disastrous results.
The hour-long Martha Stewart show recently moved to the Hallmark Channel where it can be seen weekday mornings at 9:00 Eastern. Fans and foodies can get the recipe for the halibut dinner menu, which also includes balsamic-glazed Cipollini onions and sauteed spinach on the Martha Stewart show website.
Also scheduled on Thursday's show are bridal fashions with Carolina Herrera and floral arranging from Jeff Leatham.
