When viewers at home and in the audience heard "Booing" on last night's episode of "Dancing With the Stars," many feared it was for former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who was in the audience with daughter Willow, watching daughter Bristol, who is a contestant.
No Boos for Sarah Palin
It's not true, however, according to the L.A. Times. They report that the "booing" was instead for the team of "DWTS" judges, and not for Sarah Palin.
In fact "DWTS" host Tom Bergeron asked Sarah Palin what she thought about the panel of judges, and she gave what sounded like a very noncommittal reply.
"It's like before a hockey game, you're not going to chew out the refs before your team is up to, you know, on the ice."
She then gave the judges two thumbs up and shouted, "They're great, you guys are doing great!"
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas
Was she hoping to earn points for daughter Bristol Palin and her dance partner Mark Ballas? If so, there really wasn't any need to do so. While Palin wasn't a top scorer in last night's episode, she certainly held her own, with the couple garnering a respectable 22 points. Of course everyone is wondering how many points Mark Ballas might have scored with both Bristol and Mama Palin after his trip to Alaska and a visit with the former first family.....but that's for another story.
So Sarah Palin wasn't booed, Bristol did a decent job, and Jennifer Grey came in first yet again for this week's scores. The question that remains at this point then is, who will go home tonight on "Dancing With the Stars?
