Each week, AMC's Mad Men keeps delivering episode after episode full of drama and good television. Â It's showing no signs of slowing down, now into its fourth season, and the cast is just as good as ever.
Previously on Mad Men
In last week's episode (recap below), "The Beautiful Girls," Don was still with Faye. Â However, things became a little strained when Sally showed up at the office and Don asked Faye to watch her. Â In the end, Faye and Don decided to continue doing what they've been doing. Â Meanwhile, Miss Blankenship died at her desk, and what ensued, though a sad matter, was made entertaining by Harry complaining about them using his blanket to cover her as they tried to move her away without their clients knowing. Â Roger kept asking Joan out for dinner until she finally gave in, but they were mugged afterwards and wound up kissing. Â They decided it shouldn't have happened because they're both married, even though Joan wasn't sorry and Roger feels something for her.
This Week in "Hands and Knees"
"An unannounced visitor at the Francis home rattles Betty." Â (AMC)
The sneak peek (below) shows Don, Pete, and Harry talking to a client. Â The client explains that Senator Murphy wants the voters to know the funds he's brought in to California. Â Lane walks in. Â The client wants something "comprehensive": defense, cutting edge technology, and the moon. Â They have a very big advertising budget, and everyone is taking it "very seriously." Â Pete says they "see this as the beginning of a new era in the relationship between North American Aviation and Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce." Â It looks like their business is doing well.
