OK, he was famous before I posted this, lol.

The road trips to Philly and to the 2000 Democratic convention in Los Angeles reshaped The Daily Show, but not in the way Stewart had anticipated. “We were at that point merry pranksters—guys on a bus going, ‘That guy looks like Richard Gephardt!’ ” he says. “The more we got to meet people [in the media], it was—‘Oh! You’re fucking retarded! You don’t care!’ The pettiness of it, the strange lack of passion for any kind of moral or editorial authority, always struck me as weird. We felt like, we’re serious people doing an unserious thing, and they’re unserious people doing a very serious thing.”

Always love Jon Stewart and that guy Colberrrh, who insists his name be pronounced the French way, seeing that he is Irish, mainly and not French, but some of Colberrrrh's family inisst on pronouncing it the American way.

I'm more a fan of Stewart than Colbert, because Colbert's shtick gets old after awhile, but Jon changes it up with all the "correspondents".

I rarely watch Jon Stewart because he overuses profanity for a cheap laugh. I rarely miss Stephen Colbert. Colbert rarely uses profanity. I hope Stewart's common sense DC march will do as intended and not break down into mindless shock & awe humor.

To say our media petty is spot on. I usually get my news from Canadian TV because they aren't yet sold out to Big Pharma and Government Nazi style propaganda. USA media is slanted and sucks. Fox is a disgrace and MSNBC can be disgraceful. CNN is full of idiots.

Never heard of either of them. Doesn't sound like I'm missing a thing. I sometimes watch the Red Green Show and learn how to repair things with duct-tape. I wonder if our country can be repaired with duct-tape? Oh wait, I think that's what they are trying to do and it's not holding. There just "must" be a better patch out there somewhere.
