Fun Date Night at home

Tonight James stayed with Grandma and Grandpa so Eric had I had a night just us. We didn't have the money to go do anything and I wasn't really feeling the greatest the last few days. I laid down for a nap and he surprised me with a steak dinner when I woke up.

We then went for an evening walk. Eric was so crazy as always and really made it a fun night.

Back home we go

We went home laughed, wrestled around even a little, and watched TV. Really enjoyed the night

Glad it went so well! My daughter went to a birthday party this afternoon so we were able to take a nice ride and do a few errands. Sometimes we all need time where it's just the two of us!

I'm glad you guys had fun. I had a date last night, too, but it was with Elliott. ;) I realized that I had been working too much lately, so last night Elliott had my undivided attention and we did everything that he wanted (within reason) including making brownies, playing with play doh, and watching a movie!

I'm definitely ready for a real date with my husband! One of my best friends has already told me she's working on plans for a Christmas party where Elliott will be invited to spend the night if he wants to, right after my husband gets home. :)

Awwww Renee, this is such a beautiful post. So romantic. I'm so glad to read about people who are still enough in love to want to take a night walk together. I love your pictures. They say both "comfort and love".
