After spending jail time, hospital rehabilitation, and being closely monitored by her management team, Lindsay Lohan has failed her court mandated drug test, not once, but twice in a row. What would that mean for the average American who violated their probation? Go directly to jail. Apparently Ms. Lohan does not understand the repercussions of her behavior, or quite possibly believes the legal system will treat her differently than other probation violators. Well Lindsay, this may be the last straw where Judge Fox is concerned, and rightly so.
Lohan fans were treated to a full confession by Lindsay on her twitter page Friday evening.

Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before Judge Fox next week as a result. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn’t go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future. This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences.

“Sources connected with the case have been telling TMZ...if Lindsay were to fail a drug test the judge would probably pull the plug on out-of-state-travel—a privilege for Lindsay, not a right. The judge has been pretty gracious, allowing Lindsay to visit NYC to see her family last weekend. But all bets are off now that Lindsay has flunked two tests. And sources close to Lindsay somehow already know the big wigs on ‘Inferno’ are pissed that she may have screwed up again, so flying to Louisiana may be a moot question.â€

Many drug abusers have setbacks while battling their addictions, and they simply pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and get back in the game. Hopefully, this is Ms. Lohan’s plan of attack and she will overcome. Do Lohan fans believe Lindsay is trying hard enough? What do you think?
