Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman On Welfare

It shouldn't come as any surprise. Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman is on welfare. She needs public assistance to raise her 14 children.

According to Popeater, Octo-Mom is broke and trying to come up with the means to support her family.

Is there some reason this didn't occur to her when, after having 6 children already, she underwent IVF and became pregnant with 8 more? Nadya Suleman's octuplets were born January 29, 2009.

RadarOnline reports that a source told their reporters that a TV deal gone wrong has left the Octo-Mom with no other alternative than to apply for welfare. She has sold her story to the tabloids since day 1, and has even written a book, but no one wants to publish it.

The expenses of raising 14 children have got to be astronomical, but she should have realized that before seeking medical treatments to become pregnant with the 8 babies. She had six already. Sometimes people need to count their blessings and move on with their lives.

Certainly these 14 children shouldn't in any way be penalized for having been brought into the world, but someone should do something to implant some sense (and no more babies!) into their mother!

If she needs help, she needs help. No one can change what they did in the past. Only look to the future. These kids deserve food, water, and shelter. No matter what their mom did or didn't do.

No, the children should in no way be deprived of the things they need. However if she (Octo-Mom) couldn't think this through before hand, one has to wonder if she did it for the right reasons, and if not are the children being care for properly?

Who knows for sure what goes on in someone else's home, that's for sure. But, I personally feel, after seeing her interview and home life on Oprah, that she truly is doing the best she can.
No one goes into fertility treatment, hoping for a ton of kids. It just happens sometimes. I really feel for any mom.
I only have two kids, and it's so hard sometimes with just them.

I read that. She's losing her house. She is pathetic. All those poor babies depending on her, and with all the breaks she's gotten, she still can't make it.

That is pathetic.....the woman is just pathetic.........she COULD have thought way ahead of time and tried to do some "planning." I guess she thought that she could "freeload" off others and get some "easy breaks." Well, it sounds like the general public has totally lost interest in her.....this doesn't surprise me one single bit. I do feel sorry for all the innocent kids but NOT for her.

We need licences to get married, licences should also be required to become parents, one licence per child!!!

Perhaps the physician and fertility clinic that implanted these babies when she already had SIX KIDS AT HOME should have to fork over money to help care for these children??? They should shoulder some financial responsibility for agreeing to do this in the first place.

I think she should get help and some mandatory job training skills. She needs to be educated in how to manage her life and counseled about her over weening need to have babies!
I think she also needs to figure out how she plans to raise these kids on the pittance that public assistance offers. She sure won't be living in 450,000 home! I have no issue if she lives there on her own dime, just not the pubic assistance dime!
