Marchesa presented their Spring 2011 Collection on September 15th at the Chelsea Art Museum. For a label that consistently produces jaw-dropping, red carpet gowns, it was no surprise that celebrities came to attend.
Cocoperez.com was there to watch out for the front row celebs wearing Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig’s designs for the duo’s presentation.
E! Fashion Police host Kelly Osbourne wore a nude ruffled dress. The short and sleeveless number was truly all fluff and ruffles. Even so, Kelly managed to show off her tiny waist with a black bow tied around it. She wisely kept her hair back and her make-up to a minimum. Although, a different shoe might have complemented her look better than the sparkling pair she wore.
Olivia Palermo chose a short red dress from Marchesa’s Fall 2008 Collection. The dress had a high neck and ruffled shoulders. Olivia paired her dress with grey Proenza Schouler lace-up booties. If the dress was just a touch more snug it would have been more flattering on Olivia. In any case the bright smile she had on her face and that swingy new haircut made up for it.
Grazia Daily UK spotted a straight-haired, Hermes-toting Rachel Zoe at the presentation. She wore a floor scraping silk outfit with a bow on the neckline and a belted waist. Rachel took pictures of the dresses which will no doubt wind up on one of her clients at the earliest opportunity.
