California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and TV journalist Maria Shriver's daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger has a new book out Tuesday. In the book, Katherine talks about body image issues. It's certain that Arnold Schwarzenegger and wife Maria Shriver couldn't be happier for their oldest daughter and her book!
Katherine Schwarzenegger, 20, penned the book while attending school. CA Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter has been majoring in Communications at the University of Southern California.
It would seem Katherine Schwarzenegger may be following in the footsteps of her famous parents.
In July, she participated with actress Nikki Blonsky in the ABC Family 'Live Huge' bus campaign.
Katherine Schwarzenegger is absolutely gorgeous and very charismatic in her own right! Needless to say, she is brimming with star power!
Amazingly, Schwarzenegger said that she went through an awkward phase in her life! However, Arnold and Maria Shriver were very supportive parents. They kept Katherine grounded and gave her the most important gift famous parents can give their children, a normal childhood.
In the book "Rock What You've Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty From Someone Who's Been There and Back," Katherine Schwarzenegger said despite Arnold and Maria Shriver's insistence that she was beautiful and intelligent, Schwarzenegger still had body issues. It was wasn't until later that Katherine Schwarzenegger realized the body image issues she dealing with were common body issues that other girls were also experiencing!
Katherine Schwarzenegger is 5-foot-8 and a size 6. There is nothing wrong with her weight but in the book, Schwarzenegger said she wanted to be under a 100 lbs! If she was really under 100 lbs with her 5-foot-8 frame, Katherine Schwarzenegger would have been extremely underweight and sickly thin. It's good to see that she is at a healthy weight now.
Plan on reading this book because it sounds like a great read for young women!
