Ben Affleck writes, directs, and stars in his new film, "The Town." "The Town" is a film adaptation of the book, "Prince of Thieves" written by Chuck Hogan. Affleck is also going to star as the thief who falls in love with the manager of a bank giving us the romantic comedy.
Affleck chooses the setting of Charlestown, Massachusetts for his production. He is comfortable
in the setting that is a Boston suburb of blue collar workers like his hometown, according to FirstShowing.
The book from which the movie has been adapted is popular on Amazon. Affleck is doing a screen adaption showing off his own talent not only as an actor, but as a proven director, and screenwriter. Of course he is using a proven top selling book, and his character as a romantic thief who falls in love with the beautiful bank manager almost writes itself. The casting is wonderful with Ben Affleck in his native Massachusetts. It's sure to be a hit.
"The Town" has it all from action, adventure, to suspense and romance.
