I was on a website looking at this cool condo in the sky in New York City. All those wonderful buildings with a million dollar views and at night, lights shining as if on a stage. Now, that is a place to live and have fun. On a balcony drinking a frap and smelling food from restaurants.
But, then there is the country, well more like rual country. The quitness, the beauty of nature at its best and hardly any neighbors around (unless you live in a neighborhood). Sitting on a front porch with a cup of coffee and smelling the clean air.
Now, Which place would be wonderful to have? Is country better than the city? Or is the city better than the country? Lifestyles different, but one thing remains the same. Living life.
Which lifestyle do you think is best for you?

With country life, the opposite is true. Now don't get me wrong, living is expensive today no matter where you go. But its still cheaper in a more rural setting. More land for less taxes. Homes are more in reach of the adverage working person. Not to mention rents. The serenity you find is welcoming, and allows one to actually hear thier own thoughts. Communing with nature and the animals that live here is refreshing. Getting in your vehicle and not landing in traffic jams, that not only consume gas, but can sure raise the blood pressure and take alot of your valuable time, is certainly nicer.
All in all for me, being near a city is good enough. I can still partake in some activities there, as its only a 40 min drive. Heck I drive that everyday to work. But coming home to the quiteness, the greenery, and the scent of the air, is welcoming and refreshing! I wouldn't have it any other way.
The cost of living, yes its higher there, but the insurance here is more than what I paid back in Virginia and I lived in a city there. I pay over a hundred here and only paid 68.00 in Virginia. I do know different states has their own thing, but shoot, why in the world do people in a state that doesn't have a beach or ships, ect. and live in a rual area with farmers and a river you pay more. Weird?
But, I do understand where your coming from. Thanks for the comment hon. lol
