Last season Rex Ryan and the New York Jets took the AFC Conference by storm, and they were just a couple of bad plays from making a Superbowl appearance. This season the Baltimore Ravens want to be that team.
The trash talking for this game began weeks ago. Jets coach Rex Ryan was a Ravens assistant from 1999-2008 (defensive coordinator from 2005-08) and he will face his former team for the first time since becoming coach of the Jets. The Ravens will be more than up to the challenge.

The Jets are everyone's "sweetheart" pick to win the AFC. Quarterback Mark Sanchez leads the Jets again and new comers DE Jason Taylor and Antonio Cromartie are looking for fresh starts with the Jets -- along with Ladainian Tomlinson, the Jets are loaded this season.
