Taylor Swift and Kayne West will perform on Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards. They will be at L.A.'s Nokia Theater, but not at the same time unless Kayne West makes a fool of himself again.
"While West's performance was announced last month, Swift's appearance was set to be a surprise. Other previously announced performers include Drake and Usher,"according to People.Â
If you remember, Kayne West embarrassed himself by interrupting Swift's acceptance speech as best female video in 2009. West made a ridiculous speech saying the award should have
gone to Beyoncé. The backlash was immediate and fierce.
Chelsea Handler is the MTV Music Video hostess, and she wanted to reunite West and Swift. Leave it to Handler to make a joke out of a bad situation. West apologized, and all is well, but everyone is anxious to see the reunion of the pair.
MTV appears to be down playing the whole incident, and this may be just a normal MTV Music Award show without much fanfare, or maybe not. So stay tuned Sunday night.
