As a breeze blows accross the sandy beach,
Smells of the oceans my nose they reach,
The sun beats down on the sand so hard,
That it blisters my feet, so that my soles are marred.
The waves beat against the glistening shore,
It touches my soul, right down to the core,
Yet, a thought of you races through my mind,
Bringing back memories of a love so blind.
A gull flies by and a yep he does scream,
To wake me back up from this mid summer dream.
