$40 million for Brangelina buys a stately mansion in Italy.  Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought the spectacular home in Valpolicella while filming "The Tourist".
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's purchase of the stunning mansion turned out to be a good buy. Â The lovely French-style estate is nestled in a region of Italy surrounded by a plush environment.
The Brangelina mansion they decided to buy in Italy, sits on one acre of land. Â The sprawling property has 18,000 square feet (plenty of room for their brood of six), seven bathrooms, a screening room, two dipping pools, a work-out facility, and a whopping 15 bedrooms, according to the Daily Mail.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reported that they bought the Italian after falling in love with it while "The Tourist" was being filmed. Â They intend to use it as a vacation home, but their home in Los Feliz, California will serve as their main family residence.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie also have a third home to add to their growing list of real estate. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, Brangelina bought a $3.5 million mansion in New Orleans, and have been busy helping the city to recover. Â It is an antebellum mansion that was built before the war between the states.
Not everyone is fortunate like Brangelina to buy a mansion in Valpolicella, Italy for $40 million. Â The home that Brad and Angelina bought will certainly be a tourist attraction.
