Last Friday, since I knew my husband would not be getting in until late, I decided to take Little Miss to a park a couple of miles from our house.
I had some fries to feed the seagulls, and I was hoping to get some photos of the pelicans that often hang out there.
We got there and there wasn't a pelican in sight, but we did have a wonderful time feeding the gulls and the pigeons that hang out there!
The gulls will catch the fries in the air, which is pretty fun to watch. I was hoping to get an action shot, but didn't manage since I was throwing the fries and taking the pictures!
I was a little nervous about how Little Miss would do around such aggressive birds, but she didn't get scared and the birds didn't try to take anything directly out of her hand.
After we fed the birds, we walked out on the pier to look at the boats and enjoy the view.
It was so nice to be able to enjoy the outdoors without all of the heat!!
