Listen up all you Dresden Dolls fans, they are back together and on the road coming this fall!
After many agonizing months of Dresden Dolls only being able to enjoy Amanda OR Brian in their latest endeavors we finally get to see them doing what they do best - making beautiful music together.
What every Dresden Doll fan has been waiting for has finally materialized. The tour kicks off with a 10th Anniversary Halloween show at Irving Plaza (Those that know the 'Dolls know these are coveted shows to attend) and continues through the fall.
If the 10th anniversary Halloween show is anything likes ones in the past, you can expect the duo to be in full costume throughout the entire night. Past years' shows have been posted online and had the couple dressing as Sonny and Cher as well as a couple of Britney Spears clones. The clip is long, and a must see. You can view it here, but it's probably safe to say, it might not be work or child rated as there's on-stage changes and a little sassy tease included in it.
Thus far, there are only US dates and they only go through November 21st, but don't worry, there will be more dates added soon! Just keep an eye out on their site for new date announcements.
The video announcing the reunion tour shows both Amanda and Brian sitting at a table in formal dresses waving fans whilst having tea. They muse on a reunion, going back on tour, dance in it's brilliance and cue the show dates.
