Jehovah’s Witnesses Mad That Atheists...

You can now download the latest issue of Awake, the Jehovahâ€™s Witnessâ€™s strange little magazine. The theme of this issue is those marching militant atheists, so itâ€™s a little bit personal.

Unfortunately, I was only able to read as far as the second sentence before I was blinded by the irony.

A new group of atheists has arisen in society. Called the new atheists, they are not content to keep their views to themselves.

Thatâ€™s right. The door-knockinâ€™, rabidly proselytizing cult is rebuking atheists for not keeping their views to themselves.

As much as I do not agree with athiests, they have as much of a right to speak their beliefs as anyone.

It does not matter where I wait for a bus....some JW has either been there littering the place with thier propaganda/literature or they are laying in wait with........"May I speak with you aboiut something...?" ARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH....!

What's good for the goose...

JWs are so annoying! Every weekend they leave stuff at my door, adding to the burden of trash I hve to schlep to the dumpsters. The spoil my Sunday afternoon relaxation by knocking on my door and trying to get in. I keep telling them I never want to see them again, but different ones keep showing up.

I stopped that Dorine, invited them in, argued with them for at least an hour, and let them out, I think they painted a symbol on my curb. I have not seen them in years.

Yep, I've gotten myself black-balled by them too. They steer completely clear of me. They use index cards on a neighborhood and mark on them which houses showed interest, who didn't answer and, best of all, who to stay clear of.

All you have to do is tell the Witness to have the Congregation Secretary make a note on the "Territory Card" that they should exclude your house.

Hey great magazine. I'll download the mp3 and play it on my phone. I never knew that we Jehovah's Witnesses were "That Mad That Atheists Won’t Keep Their Views to Themselves". You can ask the atheists here on Gather about me.

The quote from the magazine does not say Jehovah's Witnesses disprove, are mad at, fighting against, or are otherwise actively campaigning against atheists expressing themselves. It simply states that Atheists are doing it more actively than before.
