Project Vacant Streets

Project Vacant Streets help the homeless getting back on their feet.
They provide them with 3 meals a day and a place to stay while teaching them
social skills, helping them to find jobs and eventually a place of their own.

A commendable non profit organization.

sounds a lot like one of our homeless shelters...super nice place to stay....stipulations of looking for a job, taking job training...and helping at the shelter such as cooking and cleaning. (It's in what used to be a motel, so it has lots of rooms....the back rooms of the motel were changed into low income apartments.)
