If there is one word that appears to fit this season of British reality competition series "X Factor," the word is scandal. There seems to be one thing after another happening on the series, and Simon Cowell has his hands all in it.
First, it was the auto-tuning scandal that popped up last month, and now Simon Cowell is taking a stand to not boot a known prostitute off the series. Single mother, Chloe Mafia, auditioned in Manchester, and yes she has a website that describes her services. Won't see that here! At the age of twenty, the singer has made it passed the first round of the competition, and Cowell wants to keep her on the series.
According to MTV UK, he said the following about Mafia: "We can’t just take people off the show because they might do something that upsets some people. If a person applies to be on the X Factor it’s obvious to me that they want to do something better with their life."
Should Chloe Mafia been kicked off the series because of her profession before her audition? As long as she isn't participating in that profession now, Simon plans to leave her be. The matter will be looked into however. What do you think of his decision? For the latest in television news, go here.

He did, however, kick out a contestant who was part of a gang bullying other kids as he said the contestants were role models.
My own belief is that, if she wanted to clean up, the show should have given her the chance.
