News has surfaced that is pointing to Prince William and Kate Middleton marrying in August 2011!
Kate Middleton, Prince William's girlfriend of seven years might just get her chance to stroll down the aisle as his wife within the next year.
A Westminster Abbey Wedding?
According to sources of British Royal Wedding royal aides have made ‘discreet overtures’ to senior personnel at Westminster Abbey to hold a wedding there on the second weekend in August next year. This date jives with other reports that have surfaced. The location is one that appears to be a favorite of the family as the queen has wed there and the funeral of Princess Diana was also held there.
It seems that this location is very seriously being considered for an event in the family as Prince Phillip and the Queen had visited there back in May.
An August Wedding For Prince William and Kate Middleton?
According to what Perez Hilton has posted, it seems that it's quite likely that the wedding will be in August of next year. "A date has been earmarked for a royal wedding next year. It is very tentative at the moment but currently the second weekend in August has been mooted."
It seems that sometime in 2011 the wedding will more than likely occur. If it doesn't then the couple will probably be forced to hold the nuptials off until 2013 or later due to the Olympics which are held in London in 2012.
Patience Is A Virtue
Patience is a virtue, and it seems that Kate knows this. Having been with Prince William for many years without having been married proves she's not only patient but knows him quite well. This hopefully will make their marriage much stronger than if they had rushed into it with haste, however the couple are now in their upper 20's and if they plan to have a rather large family, time is of the essence.
Patience is a virtue for us as well, while we wait for the official announcements to make their way to our ears and eyes, we, too must follow the royal couple's example and remain patient.
It seems that knowing that it's next year or waiting another two years to marry will weigh heavily on the couple's decision for a 2011 wedding. Do you think that he will finally make her his bride?
