Thanks, George. If you listened to Mitch McConnel recently, he's still talking the tired, old, failed "Trickle-Down" economics.

Over simplified but it holds lots of truths as well.

The Trickle Down theory is still a good theory, because, in theory, it should work. (Hmmm. Did that sound like Sheldon?) After all, burdening industry with taxes is no way to encourage prosperity. Then came the Great Eye Opening of exposed capitalist greed; the ponzies and huge corp. failures. Since it coincided neatly with the Great Bubble Burst, one must conclude that no matter how promising the theory, when fortunes are threatened, the trickle stops trickling.

No theory is worth a damn if it doesn't work in practice. In the early days of America it was called the "sparrow and the horse theory." The idea was that if you feed the horse enough grain, the sparrows will get fat also. Those who disagreed with the theory said that it worked because the sparrows were willing to pick their grain out of the horse s**t. I agree with the latter theorists. LOL
