Lovely. Haiku is not my favorite form, espcially not American versions of Haiku. But this is lovely.

Brought to mind the Burt Bacharach song... he went to McGill, the music conservatory, which was a tough bough place, from what I'd seen of it.. I was in the dorm in the next building, the Music Conservatory took over the former Royal Victoria College women's dorm (Queen Vic statuie in front) ... and the students were incredibly uptight. there were two concert grands from the 19th century in the women's dorm and they wanted people to play them. So I practiced every day... it was fun. I interviewd Bacharach in Toronto, nice man.

lol! Thanks for sharing your story perhaps the reason you like this haiku is the count is off. Realized after I posted. But into everyone's life a little rain must fall.

I think you would love playing the piano at the Wrigley Mansion here in Phoenix.

Thanks. Go-Go taught me a lot over the weekend. She was so happy to teach mom something. She was busy working on a pamphlet presentation for a science lab and didn't have me proof it. One section - Discution questions. I cringed but she was still excited about her other accomplishment this weekend.

Hits the spot in different emotional eddies. But sun always wins. I always find rain inspirational. I wish someone would invent rain without clouds--besides the lawn sprinkler. Haiku's are challenging so are Tankas--love them.
