The final five on Big Brother 12 were being quite cordial and having a lot of fun with each other after the live show. But this is Big Brother, so we know that isn't going to last forever. At some point, new HoH Lane will have to nominate two people for elimination. He really only has a pool of one to choose from, being that he's there with two Brigade members and his side alliance Britney. Yet Ragan can't be all alone on the block.
A few hours after Lane's HoH win, Hayden and Enzo are seen on the Live Feeds spoilers saying that Lane has to put up Ragan and Britney, otherwise if the one not on the block won PoV, he/she could take the other off, and both Hayden and Enzo would be on the block with one going home. That would pretty much be the last nail in the coffin for the old Brigade. It was one thing to lose Lane, but losing another at the hands of one of their own would be killer.
After Lane wins his HoH, he and Enzo are discussing strategy. Enzo wants some confirmation that his alliance partner isn't afraid to put up his side alliance, Britney. Lane says he's not. Enzo feels badly he didn't win HoH so that it wouldn't all be resting in Lane's hands. Enzo suggests they out the Brigade, and Lane says he doesn't care. They admit Matt did help them get to this point, yet he started to turn on them, so they had no choice but to get rid of him.
With Brendon safely gone, everyone feels free to say what they really thought about him and Rachel. Britney rips on seeing Rachel before the show started at the hotel pool in a bikini that was so revealing Big Brother wouldn't even let her bring it to the house. Ragan's glad Brendon is gone, as he thinks he's a bad sport. He'd had it with Rachel when she was gunning to get Kristen out of the house. He mentions he thinks Brendon and Andrew could be the pair of lifelong friends in the house, because he heard them conspiring one night. Enzo admits Brendon tried to create an "athlete alliance" with him.
Looking at his pictures in HoH, Britney tells Lane he looks like Tim McGraw, and says she would make out with the guy in the picture. He gets mad at her for saying he looks like Tim McGraw, as Enzo says he's 48. Britney points out he's a good 48. As if 48 is old.
Later, the talk finally returns to the game. Lane says he's does't care if Britney leaves. He wonders who he should put up as a pawn against Ragan, Enzo or Britney. Hayden suggests putting up Enzo, and then he and Lane will tell him that Britney will think she's safe and not play as hard for the veto. Lane tells him Britney would take the two of them to final three with her, even though they both think Enzo in the final three is the best. Yet either way, it still works for them.
While it would seem the sleeping arrangements would be easier than ever with just five people in the house, for some reason it's tougher. Britney really wants to sleep in one of the bedrooms alone, but Lane wants her to share his bed with him upstairs and offers to give her a back rub. She keeps politely refuslng. He tells her he'll wear shorts instead of underwear, and says she's probably "divorced," but she says she asked in the DR, and she is still engaged. Instead she'll sleep in his old bed.
The talk moves to who he's nominating, and she of course agrees Enzo is a better pawn, but says it's because he plays harder when he's on the block. She also suggests he put two pawns up, but he firmly refuses to put up Hayden and Enzo. He asks one more time if she'll sleep in the bed with him, but it's the same answer again. Lane sleeps alone in the HoH, Britney sleeps in her old bed, and Enzo sleeps in Lane's. Ragan and Hayden sleep in the other bedroom.
The next morning, Lane and Hayden go over the nomination plan again. Hayden asks what happens if Ragan wings PoV. Lane says he doesn't care. He'll put up Britney, and she'll go home. She's a nice girl, but he thinks they need to take her out, as it will be harder later on.
Lane opens Pandora's Box and gets a money tree, meaning three punishments are going to be released in the house, but it's not really clear from watching the live feeds spoilers what these are or when they will happen.
Hayden and Lane go over the plan again, with Hayden still pushing for Enzo to go up as the pawn. He says they want to stay on Britney's good side in case she wins HoH next week, and they can allow Enzo to get mad, as he can't win competitions anyway. Yet, he presses again that what they really need is to get Ragan out.
The houseguests have their first punishment thanks to Pandora's Box. All of their drinking cups and utensils have been taken away.
Britney goes up to HoH to talk nominations again, and it's the same discussion all over again that it has to be Enzo, and it can't be Hayden, and that he doesn't want Britney to take Ragan off the block. He also asks her again to sleep in the bed with him. Â She also tells Lane she thinks Hayden took all the prizes in the PoV comp last week, as right afterwards, he asked if the jury would know who took what prizes.
The Brigade holds a meeting with Enzo expressing he'd like to see Ragan and Britney go up. Lane asks Hayden if he'd go up as a pawn, and of course he won't, but Enzo says it sounds good to him. He admits he did promise Britney she wouldn't go up this week, and bargained for that when he talked her into putting up Matt last week. She's easy to manipulate (even though he can't get her into his bed), but he doesn't want her to get to final three because of the jury votes.
It's getting close to nomination time, so everyone wants Lane's ear. Enzo and Lane talk about it being awhile since Hayden has been nominated, and Lane tells him he's thinking about it. Britney tells Hayden that he's clearly Lane's favorite, and that Lane won't put him up, but would put up Britney. Hayden tells Lane if he thinks it's better that he go up as a pawn, he'll do it and not be mad. And maybe they can tell Enzo they're doing it this way since Hayden didn't get to play in the HoH.
After the nomination ceremony, Lane has stuck with his original thought, to put up Ragan and Enzo. Ragan, a student of the game, knows that the morph competition is probably next and studies everyone faces on the memory wall. He's done it so much he has names for everyone's physical characteristics.
It would seem based on that that Ragan is poised for a PoV win, yet it seems doubtful that he would win three in a row. It would be good for Enzo and what they think about him and say about him if he won. Yet everyone will be playing PoV, so it really could go just about any way.
